At ActiveHost,
database hosting is second nature. We support several versions of Microsoft Access,
including Access 2000, but Access, while a very good database, is not designed to support multiple
users. You can, however, upgrade from Microsoft Access to Microsoft SQL at any time, and there is
even an Upsizing Wizard in Microsoft Access to assist you. From our experience with database
hosting, we suggest you connect to your SQL Database through enterprise manager.
If you’re getting an error when you try to connect to your database, it is usually
necessary to have a Data Source Name (DSN) mapped to the server. Simply email us using our Support Form and tell
us the name of the database, its file name, and its location, and well make the necessary
adjustments.

hosting, please browse our site. Come see why thousands of
satisfied customers from around the globe have chosen ActiveHost since 1996.
